Just a bunch of random thoughts...none of which I've gotten from anywhere else.
And by saying that, you can decide whether I'm bragging or I should be apologizing.

little help!
I just realized the word is accompanist, not accompany-ist. And here I had embarrassed myself by mis-pronounciating it all these years.

But you didn't know you were mispronouncing it, and were saved embarrassment at the time.
It is such an easy mispronouciation to make. Laura was always scared of mispronouncing it at a recital or competition - so she would say "Ms. Taylor will accompany me today" or "I thank Ms. Taylor for accompanying me" or something similar.
I am The Dad of a family of 6 or 7 or 8, give or take, amazing kids (depending on your definitions of what constitutes a kid), with the most amazing partner ever in Cheryl, in West Vincent PA in the house my dad built back in the 50's. I graduated from Westtown School and Earlham College, with a degree in Psychology, which doesn't explain how I became an accountant. I've been a Quaker since I was 2 months old and a Phillies fan since I was 7. Being a Quaker has served me far better.
I hope you enjoy this blog. Let's try to keep it vitriol free.
